  • If you have any questions around accessibility, please contact OrganisedFunAccess@gmail.com

Check out our Linktree for tickets!

We really value feedback and we'd love to hear anything you'd like us to do to make the night better. There may be points where we get conflicting feedback and can't do something that works for everyone.

  • For each new event, please find an EasyRead guide on our Linktree.

  • The night is designed and promoted by three neurodivergent people, and aims to platform a number of disabled and/or neurodivergent artists among our lineup.

For our audiences - we want everyone to feel welcome at Organised Fun.

Our aim is to create a friendly, relaxed night where people feel comfortable to be themselves.

However Neurodiversity is - by its very nature - diverse and we recognise the night won't suit everyone.

We really value feedback and we'd love to hear anything you'd like us to do to make the night better. There may be points where we get conflicting feedback and can't do something that works for everyone.

  • An exciting line-up of interesting artists, in a space where audiences feel comfortable to be themselves.

The host venue, Jamboree, is a grassroots venue with a Speakeasy vibe, which The Guardian has described as “part junk shop, part cabaret”.

You can choose to dance or just to sit and enjoy the night.

If you need to talk or make noise, that's fine too!

The night will have a compere who will explain what is going on, and who will happily answer any questions.

  • We know not everyone watches a show in silence, even if they are enjoying it.

We want Organised Fun to be a night where people can enjoy the show how they like - whether it be quietly watching, dancing, making noise or discussing the experience with their friends.

We ask attendees to respect that everyone enjoys music in different ways and some customers may make sound whilst enjoying the show.

Please don't ask other customers not to talk or make them feel uncomfortable for enjoying the night in their own way!

At the same time, we would ask that customers who want to have a long conversation that's not about the night or the acts/performances to consider moving to the back or the side if they are able to do so.

  • The venue is around 300m from Kings Cross Station in a short alleyway close to the Scala.

    Google Maps: WC1X 9HH

The alleyway is well lit at night. However, if you’d like someone to meet you and escort you along the alleyway, email OrganisedFunAccess@gmail.com in advance of the event and we will do our best to help.

Please see the bottom of the access page for our Wayfinding Video showing two routes to the venue or follow this link to wayfinding video

There are 2 entrances to Jamboree:

    1. Level Access (flat) Entrance

Please ring the bell to use the level access entrance, the access host will come to welcome you in! If it’s late we may need to arrange a short pause in the music due to neighbours/sound pollution through this door, so please bear with us, it shouldn’t be more than a few moments.

When you wish to leave, or go out for a break/smoke, please let the access host on reception know and we will arrange to open the doors as quickly as possible. Please do not bring drinks outside.

The door is an emergency exit so can also be pushed open in an emergency by any nearby person.

    2. 1 step entrance, heavy fire door to push from porch

The other entrance has one small step to enter the venue from the outside,

If you can use this entrance, please do, to leave the access entrance free for anyone who needs it.

When you wish to leave, or go out for a break/smoke, you can leave and come back in at any time through this door, but please do not bring drinks outside.

    Please see below for images.

Inside the venue, there is a mix of seating at tables and banquettes, and a standing/dancing area. If you want to guarantee a seat and/or a table to meet your access requirements, email OrganisedFunAccess@gmail.com.

There is an area near the entrance separated from the front of the stage by a curtain.

We will put out signage stating that this is for the use of people who need a respite/chill out space.
Please ask for earplugs at the respite/chill out space if needed! We also have some fidget toys and ear defenders.

There are also a small number of benches outdoors. You can go outside and back in at any time, to get a break from the noise levels. Please do not bring drinks outside though.

The venue has a level access toilet, which for many users will be wheelchair accessible - there is an outward opening door, grab rails (please note these are low colour contrast), a transfer space, lowered sink, hand sanitizer available, and a full length mirror.

In addition to the accessible toilets, there are a combination of standard toilets and urinals.

The closest Changing Places unit is at the back of Kings Cross Station. It is approximately 300m to the station and a further 100m to the Changing Places.

  • We recognise some people may need a Personal Assistant ticket in order to attend the event.
To book this, please contact OrganisedFunAccess@gmail.com.

  • We aim to provide captioned lyrics of all the acts.

Our captioning system is not high-tech - it's literally a person with a clicker clicking through a presentation - so we are not able to caption the talking between performances currently.

  • Jamboree has a fully stocked bar and bar staff, with plenty of soft drinks too.

The bar is a high counter bar but staff are happy to come round and serve at tables if for an access need.

There is a food hatch to the right of the bar. The menu can be found here: Menu

Please do not bring your own food or drinks unless it is for an access need e.g. to manage blood sugar.

  • The venue has a ventilation system which changes the air every ten minutes. The windows must be kept closed due to sound/neighbours.

Please do NOT come to Organised Fun if you have cold/flu symptoms or anything else infectious!

  • The venue has a security guard who is there to support everyone in having a good time.

We will not tolerate harassment at Organised Fun. Please speak to any member of staff if you are experiencing an issue. Gary (the compere), Paul (organiser) or Liv (access host) will be happy to help, and can liaise with the security guard and venue on your behalf if needed.

  • Please find content warnings for the next event via our ticket sales page on our Linktree.

Some of our acts may touch on sensitive themes such as mental health or traumatic experiences, and some acts may contain adult content or sexual themes.

    Content warnings will be given:

    - on our ticketing pages on Linktree

    -via social media

-on the night as written and spoken information, giving people time to either put in earplugs or go outside for a break, if they need.

  • Organised Fun is intended as a whole performance rather than a series of acts and we'd encourage anyone who is able to do so to get there from the beginning of the night.

However we know not everyone can do that so will

    - let everyone know the running times in advance

    - happily welcome anyone who arrives later or needs to leave early.

We will publish the running times in advance on our ticket selling page on our Linktree

Whilst things don't always go to plan, we'll do our best to stay on schedule!

A way finding video explaining two different routes to get to Jamboree from Kings Cross Station.

Level access entrance on the left of the pavement on St Chad’s Place alley. There is a drop kerb just before the entrance. Fire exit style double doors with transparent glass so there is visibility from inside to outside. There will be a doorbell to ring.

Further down the pavement, an entrance with large wooden door held open by a stool, and one step to enter. There is a bench outside which is folded against the wall.

Main entrance door to the toilet which says WC, situated to the right hand side of the bar. It is a push door. Through the door there is an accessible toilet, along with urinals and standard cubicles.

The inside of the accessible toilet. A lowered sink and handrails are close to the toilet.

Accessible toilet cubicle with grab rails, transfer space, wide entrance, lowered sink. The flush is a short handle flush. The sink has a single lever tap. There is a full length mirror.

Tables and backless stools in front of the main stage. There are a range of seat heights and styles.

Tables and chairs behind a drawn curtain by an entrance door. Just inside the main entrance, this reception area will also function as a respite space. The stage is on the other side of the curtain so you can still hear the acts, but it is a bit less visually overwhelming.

High counter blue bar, contrasting against a wood panel floor. Bar staff will be briefed to come round to serve, for any access customers.
